The Mansion Building, Academy of Notre Dame de Namur

The scope of work for the historic restoration of the campus’ iconic Mansion Building included full replacement of sloped roofs with new slate roofing, and replacement of flat roofs with new SBS-modified bituminous membrane roofing. Historic masonry work included the repointing and cleaning of all limestone façade. All exterior windows were restored as well as doors throughout the building. All terrace paving and perimeter walls were repaired and replaced, and a new basement access door and enclosure with new waterproofing was installed at a section of the basement wall.

The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur is a private middle school and high school for girls in Villanova, Pennsylvania, and was established in 1856 by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
