W.S. Cumby was engaged by Swarthmore College to provide Construction Management At-Risk services for an addition built between the Dana and Hallowell Residence Halls. The new 76-bed, 5-story addition bridges the two existing dormitory buildings and serves to create a larger and accessible residential complex.

The project includes a large, lower-level common space, an accessible entrance and elevator access to all floors of the new addition and the existing buildings. Consistent with the College’s commitment to sustainability, the project was designed and constructed to qualify for, at minimum, LEED Silver certification by the US Green Building Council.
