W.S. Cumby Construction worked in partnership with PATH (People Acting to Help, Inc.) and Bloomfield Associated Architects as Construction Manager on an addition and renovation of an existing 1970’s office building located on Castor Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia.

PATH’s purpose as a non-profit organization is to promote wellbeing and their mission is to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life. The 30,000 SF building now houses daytime activity rooms for developmentally delayed members of the community as well as a kitchen, conference rooms and administrative offices. The project scope included restoration of the existing cast stone and masonry façade, a new glazing system with custom colored spandrel glass, a full roof replacement, new finishes, and new plumbing, HVAC, electrical, sprinkler and fire alarm systems.
