Ardmore, Pennsylvania
The Ardmore farmers’ market was built in celebration of Suburban Square’s 75th Anniversary and is the centerpiece of the 300,000 SF open-air shopping square. The market incorporates historic elements with modern detailing including indoor and outdoor dining terraces, wide shopping aisles, vaulted beam ceilings and clerestory windows.
W.S. Cumby met difficult budget and scheduling constraints in the completion of the newest addition to one of the nation’s oldest shopping centers. This effort required special attention to logistical planning and the implementation of careful measures to ensure public safety in the midst of a bustling retail center.
