WS Cumby provided Construction Management services for Phases 1 and 2 of the Campus Master Plan for Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, Pennsylvania.
Phase 1 focused on the renovation and restoration of existing portions of Merion Cricket Club’s historic campus. The project scope included a new vestibule and accessibility upgrades to the Main Clubhouse; renovations and elevator installation in the Locker Room Building; Squash Court renovations; and reconfigurations in the Tennis Building including a women’s locker room expansion, fitness studio upgrade and applying new finishes to the mezzanine floor.
Phase 2 of the club’s master plan included adding new buildings to the Club’s campus and provide expanded amenities including a pool facility, outdoor restaurant space and additional tennis courts.
Merion Cricket Club was founded in 1865 and was designated a National Historic Landmark for its role in cultivating the development of cricket, golf, squash, and tennis in the United States.
