Waynesborough Country Club Pool Construction is Complete

This summer W.S. Cumby completed the second phase of renovations for Waynesborough Country Club, including a new pool and dining pavilion and locker room renovations. The project also includes new access to the pool area from the main campus, as well as an observation deck. This project followed renovations to the clubhouse dining and bar area, which were completed in 2019. W.S. Cumby teamed up with Blackney Hayes Architects, Nave Newell, and  Carter Young, Owner’s Representative on both projects. Despite COVID-related delays, the project was delivered under budget and in time for the membership to enjoy the new pool this summer.

“The project team consisting of Joe Furko, WCC, Andrew Lengel, Blackney Hayes, and Carter Young were instrumental in achieving the budget and schedule goals despite a 7-week, state-mandated work stoppage. Quick decisions, expedited payments, and a design team who turned around submittals and shop drawing reviews in Mach speed kept the project on track.”
