New Innovations in Construction Technology at W.S. Cumby

In order to continually provide our clients with the quality, cost effectiveness and safety culture that defines W.S. Cumby, we have embraced several new innovations in construction technology to introduce to current and future projects.

W.S. Cumby superintendent Andrew D’Agostino is utilizing a drone to capture flyover video at Waverly Heights, a senior care facility in Gladwyne, PA. Please stay tuned on our Facebook and Instagram pages to view the drone videos as construction progresses on a new apartment building.

A Sensera time lapse camera was erected at the future site of the Rubenstein Commons building at the Institute for Advanced Study, where it will capture the progress of constructing such a complex and one-of-a-kind facility. Sensera is a solar powered wireless camera system that captures high resolution images and video, with live streaming capabilities for 24-hour site surveillance. Upon the project’s completion, a time lapse video will be created to showcase this unique project. The image above is the first captured by our IAS camera. Follow us on Instagram @wscumby and Facebook @w.s.cumby to stay updated on the latest from this exciting project.
