Construction Update: The Shipley School Squash Court and Rowing Center

The construction and renovation of The Shipley School’s new Squash Court and Rowing Center facilities continues to make progress as the project moves quickly toward completion.

This week, the plastic covering the rowing tank in the renovated Rowing Center building was removed, signaling that the facility is close to completion. Mirrors and decking surrounding the tanks have been installed, with final flooring installation scheduled for next week.

In the newly constructed Squash Court facility, the squash courts themselves have been completed and outfitted with wood flooring and glass walls for spectator viewing. Spectator seating, a second-floor viewing area and several finishing touches will complete the Squash Courts.

The Squash Court and Rowing Center is the final phase of a three phase master development plan for The Shipley School. Click on the links below to learn more about W.S. Cumby’s involvement with the Campaign for Shipley.
