- Overcame difficult brownfield site
- One of multiple phases completed for Owner and Jersey City Housing Authority
W.S. Cumby completed construction for the third phase of the revitalization of Lafayette Gardens, Jersey City’s oldest and largest public housing development. The 70 units comprising the new Woodward Terrace increased the total number of new residences constructed on the 11 acre site to 225. The Cumby team developed a creative plan to deal with the poor soils in a phased manner that minimized the cost and schedule impact for this multi-phased development.
