W.S. Cumby provided general contracting services for a new 5,400 SF greenhouse and education center at The Scott Arboretum at Swarthmore College. The new facility replaced a 900 SF existing greenhouse on Swarthmore’s campus.

The new facility includes a new production greenhouse for horticulture display, plant evaluation space, offices and areas for public education, including a classroom, kitchenette and reception lobby. The Wister Education Center features cedar siding manufactured from trees harvested from campus by W.S. Cumby on a previous student housing project.
