W.S. Cumby was selected as General Contractor to provide construction services of a new, luxury apartment building and renovations to existing facilities that meets the needs of today’s retirees. Waverly Heights’ management, trustees and residents decided to move forward with their expansion plan due to an increase in resident population and a need to modernize the community common spaces.

The new apartment building consists of eight, 2,050-square-foot units and two 1,795-square-foot units. Each new apartment feature two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and an open floor plan. Waverly Heights’ eating areas  were renovated to include formal and casual dining rooms, a café, and an outdoor terrace. The pool and fitness center were expanded to accommodate new classes including aquatics, aerobics and dance. The salon and technology center were also expanded to offer more services to residents.
